
Michael Arrington of Techcrunch today gave an update on their pet project to build a sub-$200 touchscreen tablet, named Crunchpad. This prototype B, now has a fully functional webkit browser running on Ubuntu with a Via Nano processor – 1 GB Ram and 4 GB flash drive. Though it looks a bit bulky on the video, the enclosure is very likely to be refined and thinner with the finished product. Hopefully the price will stay around that range, and even $300 would be a good price for a device like this and I would gladly pay for it. Check out the video Below
