Linux : Rebuild deb package from installed files

Step 1 :

To rebuild Debian package (.deb) from an installation

[email protected]<3r:~$apt-get install dpkg-repack

Now here i am going to rebuild K3B from my Ubuntu 10.04

[email protected]<3r:~/packagebuild$ sudo dpkg-repack k3b
dpkg-deb: warning: ‘./dpkg-repack-13038/DEBIAN/control’ contains user-defined field ‘Original-Maintainer’

[email protected]<3r:~/packagebuild$
