How To Restore Missing Minimize and Maximize Buttons To Gnome Shell (3.4) Ubuntu 12.04

When opening windows under Gnome Shell, you will notice that only the close button is displayed by default. If you want to restore the maximize & minimize buttons to the window under Ubuntu 12.04 (Gnome Shell 3.4), then follow these simple instructions:

1. Install Gnome Tweak Tool with this command:


$sudo apt-get install gnome-tweak-tool

2. Start it now with this command:


$gnome-tweak-tool

3. Open the Shell tab and select this option:

Advanced Settings /Shell

Arrangement of buttons on the titlebar —>   All
